An electric bell consists of a horseshoe magnet. facing the two poles of the magnet is an armature made from the soft iron    army at its lower end is extended into a farmer H.  Armature also and Elastic Steel strip which is extended to a point A.  Point A of the street faces the point B on screw.

On pressing the push button switch the circuit get closed. electric current flow through the coil around the horseshoe softiron which gets magnetized the magnet attract the armature pulling the Hammer to the is taking the gong produce sound as soon as the armature along with the elastic Steel strip pulled towards magnet circuit get broken between the point A and A and B and the flow of current stop with the circuit open the electro magnet loses its magnetic property and release armature with gets back to its original position Steel stick going back to make contact between a and b is the circuit again get lost this way the circuit in the Bill Gates close and open alternately and the Harmmer strike the gong repeatedly to produce ringing sound.
