Common modes of asexual reproduction.


1 Fission: one cell dividing into and 2 into 4 and so on.

2 Budding;  an outgrowth growing into new individual.

3 fragmentation:   body pregnant growing into new individual.

4 spore formation    common and in non flowering plant with the formation of special kind of cell in a large number in special organs called spore for sporangium.

5 vegetative propagation.  vegetative part of forming new plant. Also called the vegetative reproduction.

Regeneration : regaining a lost part.
